Design With Typography, Who dis?
So the new task on WeJapa Internship was to create a landing page for a friend’s Restaurant using only Typography. I’m talking no use of illustrations and vectors but high-resolution images were allowed. To be honest before now, I never really had to design with just typography but I was up for the challenge to do what I could come up with. Started off with getting inspiration from Pinterest and dribble and then set off with sketching out a wireframe of what exactly I wanted it to look like.
I picked the “Chop Life Cooks”, I mean the name tells all you need to know about the restaurant and then made it into a logo, I had to put myself in the shoes of a potential customer and decide what other things I would like to see on the website, all the while sticking to keeping it real simple and fun.
I got designing immediately and finished up with it looking real simple and great while following every rule of design involved with this very typography design. I was asked to make a grayscale
